One thing is for sure that access to experience can help you on your way so much better. If I only knew then what I know now. Better to know and ignore than to have never known. Self-discovery is a wonderful thing, your really LEARN the lessons, but it can waste time and cause damage. I am told that I always want to teach people and not let them discover things for themselves. However, there is so much to learn and discover about SM - one life time is never enough. In recent times there has been the emergence of many clubs and groups that seek to do "good work" with in the gay and SM community. The GayMen Fighting AIDS group in the UK for example hold classes on Bondage for beginners, teaching safe sane SM, whilst in the States you have the Butchmanns Academy and so on. The main drive below is to enlist as many of the experienced Masters and slaves on this site into the program when they can help and mentor the less experienced. It is no shame to be an inexperienced Top - constantly they need to maintain the impression that they are all knowing, but this is rarely the case, as much as the slave wants them to be a God (an acceptable status), there are many occasions where you could learn more, do more, get into things that you were not aware of, all of this is good news as one of the biggest reasons why a slave leaves his Master is because it all becomes so predictable. | ||
