Holding Objects / Picking-up

One of the most enjoyable games you can play with your dog slave involves fetching objects. However, first the dog must be able to hold the object in his mouth. Do not use squeaky toys in this exercise, since you dog may have the urge to chew. Use a training objects like a rolled up pair of your old,(stinky, pissy soaked) boot socks, so that he can hold it in his mouth. If he chews it he will get more of the flavour out. Some Masters have used other content to ensure there is no chewing, like shit or Chili inside the sock - this will help the animal hold the object with the greatest of care. You should only reward your dog verbally with a "Good dog" not with a treat of any kind, since the dog must continue to hold the object.
You may find it more productive to get the animal to work with your boots socks or jocks before you add little challenges to them.  You might find it also useful to wear some leather or rubber gloves when handling the dog to the object, as the glove is a firm reminder of who is is in charge.

  1. Kneel down beside the dog, who should be sitting and secure. Hold the leash under your knees and your arm securely around the dogs   head&neck.
Gently, but firmly force open your dogs mouth, saying "Good Boy".
You can open the jaw by using your thumb in his mouth or on the chin.
You can also use his nose by putting 2 fingers up the nose or holding his septum nose piercing and pulling back (like when force feeding him).
  2. Having previously teased the dog with the object and after you have made sure he is happy enough hold the dogs head and put the object in, giving him the command "Hold".
  3. The dog will soon learn to hold the object willingly, where it will settle around his teeth. Praise the dog with "Good dog to hold". Ensure that the object is help well.
Some objects will cause the tongue to have difficulty in retracting.

If the object is rejected or he attempts to spit it out. Say "Bad Dog".

Then holding the dog firmly,  and repeat the exercise, always keeping the object in front of his nose.

Picking-up / Holding Objects

Now that he can hold them , next you need to train him to pick them up by himself with out the use of the crop or the Remote Trainer, which may be required in the early stages.

  1. Now tease the dog by ringing the object close to his nose, so that he knows what is to come. So he can see and smell the object, then ensuring you have his attention, say "Good dog" as you put it down.
  2. Once it is on the floor the dog should still have some interest in it, following it intently, reinforce correct behaviour with "Good Dog".
  3. With the object resting on the floor,  and you hand holding it, command "Hold" as the dog moves forward to take the object in its mouth.
  4. Move you hand away from the object allowing the dog to pick it up. At the same time commanding "Hold", ensuring that the dog does not drop the object.  If he is hesitant if he hear the warning bleeps from the Remote Trainer around his cock and balls, this will also encourage him.
