This section outlines to process of becoming at subscriber.
Below are the steps required to gain full access to the site, the products and
services.
- Registration - Create an account.
This requires you to fill out a simple form where you have to choose a userid
that has not already been used, your password, what country you are located in
and your email.
Note: the email must be valid as when this is checked and found to be
unknown/over-quota or blocked your account will be deleted. If you have
created an advert in the past via the 'Joining' page you connect your account
based on the same email address you used. This will give you the same username
and allow you to edit your existing advert as your profile.
- Upgrade to Subscriber.
Once you have logged on you can then select the upgrade option. If you pay via
Pal Pay you will get immediate access. This only occurs if you logon using the
Same Userid as in the registration, and ideally pay using the same email
address as the registration.
Failure to do so will result in another userid (which may have been a previous
attempt or alterEgo) to be a subscriber not the one you were expecting.
Likewise if your used your works email then its is That Company on the paypal
payment system that has bought the subscription, not your home email.
Therefore maintain a consistent logon id. You will get emails telling you what
has happened.
- After Logging on.
Typically this is where you logon to the green bar at the top of the members
page or from the front page. From the front page you will be able to access
the main menu which can control your online profile and settings. Once you
have logged on the green bar will change and tell you about your current
account status and if you have any messages etc.
- Logging onto the right site.
The site is split into two versions. Once for subscriber
http://portal.thedoghouse.org/members/ and one for guest or visitors which
is
http://www.thedoghouse.org/members/ both appear to operate the same but
only the subscribers can benefit.
- Problems
In the event of problems checkout the FAQs or
send us an email (in English) which might not be as quick as the FAQ.
