It has a number of chat rooms supported by the by the famous Volano Chat client. There are chat rooms grouped by country and others by Themed Interest.

Many of the doghouse members have a gaydar or recon profile which allows them to get in contact with many people locally, which is ideally if you are horny that evening and don't want to travel that far.

When you hit the Yellow Chat button you will be then taken into a Gaydar chat listing.

Once inside the room you can chat in the room as normal.

If you click on one of the members (eg topdog1) you will see their profile come up so you can find out more about them before you chat with them. You don't have to have a profile on Gaydar but it helps and is becoming one of the defacto places to have a profile.

If you double click on a member in the right hand window, you enter into private chat with that person.

Some words of caution.

• Java applets can eat up a fair bit of your computers resources.
• Ensure that you have the latest java runtime (or get MSIE 6+ )
• Hours can rush past and all that you planned to do has been missed.
• There are plenty of people that just want to wank off with the "tell me what you will do to me Sir" type of dialogs.
• And in the UK you could loose your job using Internet chats as 'Internet Misuse'.
