The Kennel
software does not use java and so does not
requires you to configure any special software
or install the latest Java Virtual Machine.
It senses what you are using and customises
										itself accordingly.
											- If you're having trouble getting
into chat, please try the following
											steps:

											-

												- Clear out your temporary internet
												files.

												- Go to Tools > Internet Options
												> Advanced. Make sure you have
all three of the Java boxes checked.
												(Called VM, or Virtual Machine.)

												- If you have a firewall, make
sure that port 8000 is open. Try
												disabling the firewall and connecting
-- if it works now then the problem
												lies there.

												- Make sure you don't have any
pop up blockers enabled for any
												of the doghouse sites (*.thedoghouse.org)
												such as woof.thedoghouse.org.

												- Upgrade your browser version
												- 90% of the world uses Microsoft
												Internet Explorer 5.5 and above.
However the software has been tested
												on many platforms.

												- Try entering a Kennel after
each of these steps. One of them
should work for you. Let us know.

											- PC running slow

											- It is quite possible that your PC
have too many windows open and is running
											out of resources.

											See Slow PCs
											-  AOL Users

											-
Try switching to IE or Netscape - minimize
your AOL browser, open one of the others.
