Updating your email address
We need to ask you to provide your up-to-date
email address before you can continue
to use the service. We don't want to
spam you with junk mail, but your real
and active email address is needed for
a number of reasons, including:
- the ability to receive email
notification of un-read messages
(if you have opted-in to this feature);
- access to news about new and
up-coming features and events (if
you have opted-in to such information);
- compliance with various laws
regarding data protection and accuracy;
- changing the way members log-in
to the service.
In the very near future, members will
be asked to log-in to the service by
using their email address rather than
their member name. This will make it
easier for members to recall their log-in
information (an email address is usually
something used every day and is easier
to remember than a fetish-specific member
name!). If we don't have an accurate
email address for you, then you won't
be able to log in to the service.
After providing your email address,
your account will be temporarily de-activated.
A re-activation email will be sent to
the email address you provide and you
will then be able to re-activate your
account immediately by following the
simple instructions in the email.
Please rest assured that your email
address will not be used for unsolicited
marketing (i.e. spam). You will only
receive email from us or carefully-selected
third-parties if you specifically opt-in
to such communications. These settings
can be changed by you at any time from
within your Control Panel.
